Director and Instructor​

​​Tonya Ebner is a wife and mother of 2 girls. She began her dance training at 3 years old and continued through college at the University of Kanasas. She started teaching in her own home studio that was built by her father at the age of fourteen and continued teaching there until she graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School.

While attending the University of Kansas, she taught for several local studios. After completing her degrees (BSB in Business Administration and Accounting and BGS in Economics) she worked at a ballroom studio as well as continuing to teach for several local dance studios.

Tonya established a traveling dance studio in 1998 which grew into what is now the Academy of the Arts. Tonya loves to instill the passion for dance and the arts in her students and feels so blessed to be able to do this every day along with a wonderful and talented staff of instructors who share that passion.
