Krystin has danced since she was 7 years old. She has taken classes from Mia Michaels, Joe Tremain, Charles McGowan from Chorus Line, Cris Judd, Wade Robson,  and Laurie Ann Gibson. In high school she was captain of the drill team at Shawnee Mission Northwest. Later, she danced at JCCC for the Golden Girls for 2 years. Krystin was captain her sophomore year. She coached the Shawnee Mission North drill team for 3 years. Krystin has taught for 3 local studios through the years. She loves it so much she's been teaching at the Academy for over 17 years! She's won choreography awards for her dances like "Nightmare", her personal favorite! "I have loved watching all these girls grow to young ladies. I just wish they would stop growing."
